The Eartec UltraLITE™ is a professional full duplex intercom for people that need to communicate and work with their hands. This compact system features UltraLITE™ Single and Dual ear wireless headsets, one “Master” that sets the digital sequence, and up to four “Remote” headsets. UltraLITE™ utilize Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology (DECT) to provide professional, simultaneous talk wireless communication within a quarter mile range.
The UltraLITE™ series are a breakthrough because all electronics, including the battery are built right inside the headset earcups, eliminating wires and belt worn radios. The system does not require a base station, and the headsets are field programmable, meaning that the system can be expanded at any time. No FCC License Required.
UltraLITE™ headsets eclipse all other full duplex wireless for performance and convenience because the transceiver is built right inside the ear cup. This self-contained, “All in One” design eliminates headset wires and even belt worn radios. They provide simultaneous talk, two way voice communication for users that need to work with their hands yet also require one ear free to listen to what is going on around them. The mic boom arm swivels 270º so the headset can be worn on the left or right. Microphone mutes when in the up position.
Field Replaceable Lithium Battery . Each UItraLITE™ wireless headset comes complete with a rechargeable Lithium battery that is installed in a special compartment of the headset plastics. The batteries are lightweight and only about the size of a book of matches. They charge in approximately 3 hours and operate the headset for 6 hours. Since they are removable, and are charged externally in the Multi-Port charger, they can be changed out in seconds.
Multi-Port Charger . All complete UltraLITE™ wireless systems include a Multi-Port charger that charge the headset batteries in individual bays. When each battery reaches full charge the corresponding LED turns from red to green indicating that the battery is ready to go. This feature allows users to have extra batteries on hand in the charger whenever necessary.
Softside Case . Eartec’s Softside Case is included to keep your wireless system stored safely. Constructed of waterproof nylon this headset bag/case includes internal compartments so the headsets stay organized. There is also a pocket with Velcro enclosure for the charger and any spare batteries. The molded hard plastic handle makes transport easy and convenient for “On Location” work.
Comm System Basics
Comm Systems is symply an abreviation for communication systems. There are basically 2 types of Comm Systems
Full Duplex (such as Eartec, Clearcom and a Telephone)
Half Duplex (Radios, Walkie-Talkies)
The primary difference to the user is very simple - Half Duplex only allows one person to talk, while any others can only listen - and wait for the chance to talk. Speaking typically requires pressing a button or switch. When more than one person tries to press their talk switch, it often makes it so that no one can hear.
Full Duplex, on the other hand, allows free back and forth betwen all parties in the system, just as if you were speaking naturally to each other.
Our systems are Full Duplex - allowing for the most natural, frustration free flow of communication.
Why use a Comm System? Once you have done an event or two you begin to realize just how difficult it can be to get everyone on the same page at the same time - texting and group chats help, but when you need a problem addressed right this minute at a specific location - you don't want to be at the mercy of typing with your thumbs and hoping the right person sees it.
Even when everyone is sitting at the same Tech Table - being able to speak softly to each other and be heard clearly is incredibly valuable.

Defective Equipment
If you believe you’ve received a defective product, contact us by phone 888-788-9775 or email Or, you can simply complete our online support request form. We will help you ascertain if the equipment is in fact defective, and if it is, we will provide you with an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization). If we determine the unit failed under warranty within 30 days of purchase we will even pay the shipping costs (within the contiguous United Stages).Be sure to clearly write your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number on any shipping labels and written material provided.
To avoid any delays or value adjustments be sure to follow these procedures:
- Include the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
- Do not write on the original box
- Item must be in like-new condition
- Item must be in the complete original packaging
- Be sure to return all accessories that were originally included
- Be sure to return all literature that was originally included — manuals, warranty card, etc. — must be returned in new condition
- Place the merchandise – in it’s original packaging – into an appropriate Shipping box.
- Use standard packing tape — no duct tape
- Affix shipping label with RMA number

Standard Shipping Policy
Many of our items ship free of charge. If your order does not qualify for free shipping you will find our discounte shipping rates to be most affordable. During checkout, your charges (if any) will be calculated and displayed for your approval. You will have several options from which to choose:
- UPS Ground 1-5 Business Days Delivery based on distance to destination
- UPS 3 Day Select® 3 Business Days Delivery by end of day
- UPS 2nd Day Air® 2 Business Days Delivery typically by end of day
- UPS Next Day Air® Next Business Day Delivery typically by 3:00 pm.
- US Priority Mail – For smaller items. Typically 2-3 days

Free Shipping Policy
Certain orders shall qualify for free freight. Items qualifying for free freight shall fall under the following terms and conditions:

- Free Shipping offer is available in the contiguous United States only. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or international addresses do not qualify.
- Free Shipping may not apply to special orders. Ask your representative.
- Lightweight items may be shipped via the United States Postal Service and normally arrives within 2 to 3 days. Heavier items ship via UPS Ground. Delivery times range from one to five days, depending upon the distance to the destination.
- Free Shipping may not apply to some over-sized or heavy products.

Our "Rent me Buy me" business model keeps our rental equipment new and fresh by selling and replacing the equipment while it is still under warranty and in excellent condition (whenever possible).
You may just purchase the equipment outright, or you may decide to keep it after your rental period, and apply 75% of your rental to the purchase price.
