The challenge - to convert a large open office space into an inviting, camera friendly studio. Pipe and drape in the company's color is set floor to ceiling covering the entire back wall. Stage with skirting and carpet is set. Unobtrusive column speakers with wide dispersion are used to saturate the room without having to blare. 10 Lapel mics run thru a digital mixer with Automix gain balancing for enhanced feedback rejection. Camera Lighting on the stage. Color uplighting on the wall behind the stage. Dual confidence monitors. Camera risers in the back with 2 broadcast studio quality cameras. Multi channel video mixer and encoder delivers the presentation to internet viewers while also recording the raw material for future editing. Two 65" TVs in the back of the room for teleprompters.

Insurance company's legal team providing insights into new regulations and taking Q&A from their client guests representing the energy corridor. Detailed powerpoint presentations called for large projection screens and 10K laser projectors in the brightly lit room. Multiple simultaneous presenters with lapel mics presented potential feedback issues which were controlled utilizing gain balancing features in the digital audio console. Another challenge was multiple presenters moving back and forth between their presentations. Problem solved by setting up multiple computers in the booth with a seamless video switch allowing for rapid and visually appealing transitions between sources.

25 Attendees (Hybrid Meeting)

Hybrid meeting. Closed door with secured internet attendees. 25 people in U-shaped boardroom style setting. Particularly challenging was 25 wireless PTT mics in that small of a space without generating feedback from the sound system. Solution was wireless PTT system running automix algorithms plus digital real time eq analysis. Second challenge was clearly capturing individual speakers on camera for the internet in a closed meeting (no camera operator allowed). Positioned PTZ camera above the central video screen and configured 6 presets capturing 6 zones around the table - labeled for the secretary to recall as needed

General Session - Clear audio across the entire ballroom with 350 seated at round tables. 15 wireless microphones. Dual 10K projectors on 16' screens for presentations provided from 4 laptop sources and streamed internet. Dual Confidence monitors and presenter timers. Specialty ornamental draping design overlaid on the pipe and drape backdrop. Stage lighting and wall color wash uplighting. 4 ea, breakout rooms with audio, wireless lapel and video projector in each room.
